SCLP’s volunteer-led steering committee is a collaborative workgroup of grantmaking professionals focused on leveraging networks and resources in order to mitigate the impact of historical and systemic inequities in the Latinx community. SCLP provides thought leadership, tools and opportunities to build relationships through events, educational convenings and webinars as well as through newsletters that help build the field. It aspires to support and strengthen the philanthropic sector to improve racial justice and equity across Southern California and in philanthropic spaces, and to mobilize more philanthropic resources to communities in need.
